A WALK IN THE RAIN

Droplets from the abode of gods

Pour on like pearl beads, holy celestial

In the hand i secure it tight

Carry it in twilight; wish could make my wish come true

Muddy cushion, feet run freely on greasy grass

Hand in hand, how one knows one is just about to fall

Smashed with water and twigs, turns to see smile gathered across

So a lift, a hand desired

Haul up and gather the wit to laugh and run through the agony of the fall

Splashing water on and across, untroubled who has ever got hurt by, dampen smack??

Lollies, ice candies, piping hot tea, and a basket full of fattening snacks

Friends snuggle up, cosy in each other’s humid embrace

Drenched in natural showers, chatter and play hay

Who said companionship is but in stories

The farthest drive seems a small distance already covered

Is it all, are there no more miles to cross??

Wind blowing through open curls, Scotch mist accompanies only smiles

Flatters and flows unconditionally

Marsh lands, twigs in hand take a trip through the woods

Cast spells to beckon love, desire

Hear echoes of passionate songs, sung in vicarious pleasure

Dwindling light also can’t shackle our feet from straying away and enjoying harmonic paradise

Soaked and wrapped in soggy flesh, I think

Happiness, camaraderie, friendship are not sagas to be narrated

Items to be preserved in glass frames and historical museums

It’s felt deep within, hand in hand, heart to heart

Who would otherwise seek such bliss in a weather to take refuge under canopies?

Who would look out for drops to pour only to fetch a cuppa hot tea?

Who would seek blessings from eternal abodes to drench us and keep us soaked in ecstasy?
